Sources & Atlas
Transparency is part of the product. These are the beacons Reality Radar checks, what they cover and how often. If a source fails, affected signals are marked stale — a failed check is never reported as “no change”.
Trust tiers
- ARegulators, government agencies and manufacturers — the original notice.
- BTrusted structured databases or official data redistributed by reputable projects.
- CReputable media and specialist publications — used for corroboration.
- DCommunity or user reports — always marked unverified until confirmed.

- Official APIs and feeds first; public pages only where allowed.
- We honour robots.txt, terms of use and rate limits, and identify our crawler.
- No login walls, paywalls or access controls are bypassed.
- We store links and short quotations, not full copies of articles.
